Construction Wireman

  • Many years’ experience to entry level.

  • Competitive wages and benefits – placement at appropriate level.

  • Optional tuition free courses available.

  • After 1000 hour of employment, you may apply for the inside apprenticeship.

  • All time on the job and coursework is applied to the inside apprenticeship, should you be accepted.

Inside Wireman Apprenticeship

Must be over 18, have a credit in algebra, be a high school graduate or have a GED and have at least 1000 hours of experience as a Construction Wireman to be eligible to apply.

In order to complete the apprenticeship, one must complete the following:

  • 8,000 hours of on the job training (Construction Wireman time counts).

  • The required curriculum, currently 1028 contact hours.

  • Graduate Apprentices move to Journeyman Inside Wireman status.

Installer-Technician Apprenticeship

This three year program focuses on low voltage limited energy systems such as local area networks, wide area networks, telephony, nurse call, security and other communication systems.

  • Must be over 18, have a credit in algebra, be a high school graduate or have a GED.

  • In order to complete the apprenticeship one must complete 4500 hours of on the job training, the required curriculum, and currently about 540 contact hours.
